Om Namasivaya Today 5.1.1927, was the birth of a great Guru and Siddhar in America where He was initiated into Nandi Natha Sampradaya by the great Satguru and Siddhar from Sri Lanka Satguru Sivayogaswami at the age of 19. Satguru Sivaya Subramuniyaswami, known as Gurudeva was the founder of International Magazine, Hinduism Today, and the founder of the Kauai Hindu Monastery in Kapaa, Hawaii, USA. According to olai reading, He was the incarnation of Raja Raja Cholan, the great Hindu King who build many temples around the world. When Gurudeva was alive, He had the vision of Lord Siva in the 1970s and started to build Iraivan Temple, 100% granite in The Raja Raja Chola style, first of its kind outside India under the guidance of Great V Ganapathi Stapathi who passed away in 2011. Now the temple is about 95% completed which was continued by Satguru Bodhinatha Veylanswani.
