Anbe Sivam. Om Namasivaya Today 5.1.1927, was the birth of a great Guru and Siddhar in America where He was initiated into Nandi Natha Sampradaya by the great Satguru and Siddhar from Sri Lanka Satguru Sivayogaswami at the age of 19. Satguru Sivaya Subramuniyaswami, known as Gurudeva was the founder of International Magazine, Hinduism Today, and the founder of the Kauai Hindu Monastery in Kapaa, Hawaii, USA. According to olai reading, He was the incarnation of Raja Raja Cholan, the great Hindu King who build many temples around the world. When Gurudeva was alive, He had the vision of Lord Siva in the 1970s and started to build Iraivan Temple, 100% granite in The Raja Raja Chola style, first of its kind outside India under the guidance of Great V Ganapathi Stapathi who passed away in 2011. Now the temple is about 95% completed which was continued by Satguru Bodhinatha Veylanswani. Gurudeva was my guru who initiated me into Pancakshara Mantra, Om Namasivaya on 31.3.1987, PJ Siddhi Vinayakar Temple, Selangor, Malaysia. Dec 18, 2021, an unexpected situation happened and was talked about nationwide and also internationally. Many lessons that we learn from it. 1. Life is unpredictable. Anything can happen at any time to anybody at any place. So be prepared yourself to accept, power of acceptance. 2. Working together irrespective of religion, belief, color, and race. When there is calamity or disaster, only then do we appreciate the help from others. We could see the oneness among all of us. That shows the presence of God thru human beings. To serve mankind is to serve God. 3. The power of prayers. We could see many people's tears outpouring due to the flooding which had damaged the most of their belongings and also lost of lives. Many contribute towards the retention centers in kind and things and also intensive prayers to reduce the suffering of people and stop the rain. The power of group prayers is power and it works.
