“Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.”
Martin Luther King Jr.
Where does this community see itself going?
We live in an age of changing political landscape that manifests
unprecedented opportunity for the Malaysian Indian community to
move forward. More than ever, we need to be informed, motivated,
and involved in influencing decision-makers in safeguarding our
future.
Safeguarding the future for our next generation is our paramount
challenge today.
What to anticipate in the current political
climate....
We know that the community needs to stay ahead of these shifting
trends . Understanding the real-politics of our nation and learning
from the “lessons of history” will enable the community to
galvanise its efforts to be better prepared in facing the coming
challenges.
The paper presentations will examine our historical roots in Malaysia
and identify our strengths, so we can move forward strategically
to serve our needs and ultimately help advance the community
development agenda.
Opportunity to look to the future, while tying in lessons of
the past.....
